Ask God for grace so that all of your thoughts and deeds will be directed purely.
Imagine hell. Imagine the pain those in hell suffer. Use your senses.
See those who suffer.
Hear those who suffer.
Smell what hell is like.
Taste the bitterness of hell.
Feel the touch of hell.
Think of those who are in hell.
Now be glad that you are not there. Be glad that God has had mercy on you. Be glad that from now you can live in a way that is fitting.
Recall your sins. Consider how God is looking at you now. Contemplate and make atonement in your mind. Be humble. Look for the cause of your sins so that they may be corrected. Decide how you will make recompense for your errors.
Commit to undertake some small regular abstinence or penance (that does not endanger health of course). This is not a rule but a demonstration that you are in control of your own body. Keep this commitment. Use this to achieve greater peace and grace.
Ask God for the grace to avoid your faults.
