God is reason.
It is God's nature to act reasonably.
Not exercising your reason is not consistent with God.
You must have faith that God will act reasonably, that there is a logic to the universe, or else your reason alone will lead to despair.
Faith and reason are not competing terms, but are inherently complementary to each other and must exist together.
