Look ahead and don't worry about what is behind.
See what you still need, and not what you have.
Thus humility is quickly won and defended.
Keep desire of God all your life to stand in the way of perfection. He allows no other partner and will only work alone in your will. He asks only you, and you must reject all others, and leave him to act through you.
Do this, ask Him meekly in prayer, and He will help you.
